The Quality Station measurement system provides a comprehensive solution for the quality control of geometrically complex objects. By integrating the optical 3D scanner with a tilt-rotary table, the device enables automatic and precise measurement of objects. The dedicated SMARTTECH3Dmeasure software allows for instant comparison of the measured part with the reference CAD model and generates an individual control report in PDF format. This hardware-software combination allows users to fully automate the entire inspection process from a single mounting position, without the need for operator intervention.
The compact design of the solution allows it to be used even on the small surface of a standard desk. The support structure, made of carbon fiber, minimizes the impact of temperature changes on the measurement process. Additionally, the reverse projection of the deviation map onto the real object elevates visual error indication to a new level, enabling quick repairs or the complete elimination of defective pieces.
With its user-friendly interface, customizable control reports, and compact size, the Quality Station is an ideal complementary solution for companies utilizing additive technology. The field measurement technology, based on structural light, allows for the simple digitization of any shapes produced through 3D printing.

The SMARTTECH3Dmeasure software provided with the system is equipped with the basic tools needed for quality control. The entire measurement process, adapted to the measured part and user requirements, can be fully automated by creating custom measurement plans and designing subsequent stages of data processing. The software includes functions for creating a color map of deviations between the measured object and the CAD model, as well as tools for distance, area, and volume measurements. Users can also create cross-sections of the object and calculate the partial or full perimeter of the structure. All performed measurements and deviation maps along with their local numerical values, as well as cross-sections, can be inserted into a report and saved in PDF format for documentation and sharing with other users.
SHOW YOUR RESULTS DIRECTLY ON THE OBJECT
Reverse projection is the latest feature available to users of our 3D scanners. It allows users to project points, lines, polygons, and a color map of deviations directly onto the scanned object. This makes it easier to clearly mark areas that require special attention from staff during the production process or to visualize deficiencies when reviewing details from sub-suppliers.

EXTERNAL SOFTWARE INTEGRATION
The results of 3D scanning, regardless of their application, are most often used in subsequent processes within various software for quality control or reverse engineering. For this reason, the SMARTTECH3Dmeasure software allows users to easily export results in formats such as OBJ, PLY, TXT, and IGES, enabling continued work in other CAD programs. Additionally, the SMARTTECH3D SDK is available.
